Air Ambulance newsletter gets a new focus

InsideOut were commissioned to design and create a new newsletter for the charity. After a review of their current magazine it was agreed to move away from the previous approach (which was very costly and had no definitive purpose) and instead develop a much more cost-effective and donor focused newsletter twice a year.

The new newsletter aims to be all about their supporters and how their support has helped the Air Ambulance. Designed as a much smaller publication to reduce costs but to also ensure it is engaging and not overly content heavy. The over-riding aim was to inspire their donors and really show them what their support means. Designed to engage them with the organisation and give them a sense of pride to be one of their donors. In the long term the aim of this piece is to help them become the Air Ambulance donors’ ‘charity of choice’ and reduce attrition rates.

Kate Childs, Marketing Manager, stated her aims as “We do not want this to be another ‘boring’ charity newsletter. It should be reflective of us as a dynamic organisation.”
